RWU’s namesake has a sordid history, to say the least

Hello Hawks,

Spring has sprung! It is about time. Hopefully we do not get another blizzard like the one from a few weeks ago.

Hopefully your spring break was a little more eventful than mine. It gets pretty lonely when you are not around walking past me every day.

I have been hearing a lot about “March Madness,” but I am still not entirely sure what it is. If someone could walk up to me and fill me in I would greatly appreciate it. I think it might be some kind of game but I cannot be sure.

The first Accepted Students Day weekend looked like lots of fun! There was certainly a lot more foot traffic through D’Angelo Commons than I am used to. Hopefully I see these students again in the fall so I have more people to share my thoughts with.

Well, we are getting closer and closer to the end of the school year. I would be shedding a tear right now if I had tear ducts. I know things can be difficult, but keep your head up and finish out the year strong. I know you can do it.

As the weather gets warmer, outdoor study sessions are a fun way to get some sunlight while also getting work done for your classes. I would certainly appreciate the company, and the trees around me will provide you with some much needed shade.
