“Dance ‘Til Dawn,” RWU’s Dance Club show, took place on Saturday, April 18 at 7 p.m. The field house buzzed with excitement and filled with friends and family there to support the performers and see what the club has been up to this semester.
Twenty-five numbers were performed, all choreographed by student choreographers. The first dance titled “Dance ‘Til Dawn” was choreographed by the Dance Club officers: President Leah Waterman ‘26, Vice President Grace Cappelli ‘27, Secretary Sadie Miller ‘27, and Treasurer Molly Donna ‘27. The officers for next year, 2026-2027, were also announced, with Cappelli as President, Donna as Vice President, Nina Bodnar as Secretary, and Miller as Treasurer.
All twenty-five dances were full of energy and emotion, with styles differing but mostly sticking to hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary, although one number included tap. This large group consisted of over 60 dancers, with their first number including every dancer.

The song variety included different genres, moods, and even languages, making the show engaging for the majority of the audience. At around just two hours, this show packed in a lot and truly captivated the entire Field House.
Some crowd favorites included “Raining Men,” “Unidos pelo Ritmo e pelo Coraçāo” (United by Rhythm and Heart), and “This Charming Man.”
The final song “Iconic Sadness & Existential Anxiety” was performed by all twenty three RWU Dance Club seniors, and was completed with underclassmen giving flowers to the graduating seniors.
The Dance Club put on a show full of emotion and artistry, and the anticipation of this had the field house packed. RWU’s Dance Club puts on a show once a semester, be sure to catch the next one in the Fall 2026 semester.

“This semester has been one of the best yet for this club, and these dancers have been working hard day after day to put this show on for you all,” the Dance Club officers said.
