On Saturday, February 21st, the RWU men’s lacrosse team faced Wheaton College on the Bayside field for their home opener of the season. They started strong, with Brady Lee, a junior from Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, scoring the first goal of the game. Nick Cotting, a senior from Holliston, Massachusetts, also made significant contributions by scoring 2 goals, making him the leading scorer for RWU in the match. Unfortunately, RWU fell short, ending the game with a score of 6 to 10. However, the Hawks have yet to play against a team within the Conference of New England; their first CNE match will take place on March 26th, on the Bayside field against Gordon College.
