Men’s Basketball – #3 in the Conference of New England (CNE)

RWU men’s basketball had a shaky start in their stretch of first three non-conference games, losing by a combined total of 21 points. Junior Guard Finn Miller sparked a turnaround with a 26-point performance on 10-for-20 shooting according to the RWU athletics website. Miller led the team to an overtime win over their conference opponent Curry – for their first of three straight wins. With the recent loss to Connecticut College, it puts the team at just a game under .500. The Hawks will take on the University of New England for a CNE matchup at home on Sat. Dec. 6th at 3:00pm.
Women’s Basketball – #2 in the Conference of New England (CNE)
Record: 4-3 overall | 1-0 CNE (As of 12/1/25)
RWU women’s basketball after dropping the opening game to Babson, went on to win their last four of six games by a combined total of 98 points. Senior Guard/Forward Sophia Coppola went for a season high of 26 points on 7-for-17 shooting, in their Nov. 15th victory against Connecticut College. Coppola leads the team averaging 15 points a game and averaging six rebounds a game. The Hawks will take on the University of New England for a CNE matchup at home on Sat. Dec. 6th at 1:00pm.
Men’s Ice Hockey – #8 in the Conference of New England (CNE)
Record: 2-6 overall | 1-5 CNE (As of 12/1/25)
RWU men’s ice hockey after a strong start on Halloween night beating UMass Dartmouth 4-3 along with a hat trick by Freshman Forward Daxton St. Hilaire, went on to lose their last five of six games. The Hawks have lost by a combined total of 23 goals when facing conference opponents this season. The Hawks will head into their Fri. Dec. 5th matchup at 5:00pm at Driscoll Arena in Fall River, MA, holding a 2-1 home record.
