Baypoint Residence hall closed its doors to students in the fall of 2024. Gloria Arcia, Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer, said that the university is currently under contract for the sale of the Baypoint property and is now in the process of divesting their contents which will involve an auction.
“We did have an open ‘Donate and Carry’ days where the university community could donate to the Student Emergency Fund and carry out items they wanted from the premises,” Arcia said.
The identity of the buyer cannot be disclosed at the moment.
