After The Hawks’ Herald published a story on a Portsmouth house party that resulted in two arrests, students were seen on security cameras throwing out copies from news stands across campus. The incidents happened at GHH and Upper Commons. Public safety officials believe the instances were connected to the article on the house party. The students are not being identified by public safety or the department of conduct at this time. The Hawks’ Herald estimates around 100 copies were discarded by multiple students.
