No gym? No problem Stay in shape inside the comfort of your home

Being stuck inside during a pandemic can be a tough time, especially when you run out of snacks to eat and TV shows to binge-watch. With gyms being closed, there isn’t much motivation to get out of bed and burn off the calories you just ate. 

Luckily, there are plenty of free, online workouts that require no equipment to keep you in shape during your social distancing. Below are a few examples.

 

WORKOUT #1

Creator: POPSUGAR Fitness 

Type: Cardio and HIIT

Take a 10 second rest in between each exercise 

Cycle One (Repeat Twice): 

  • 40 seconds inchworms

  • 40 seconds mountain climbers

  • 40 second ski jumps

30 second quick feet

Cycle Two (Repeat Twice):

  • 40 second reverse lunge, right leg

  • 40 second reverse lunge, left leg

  • 40 second squat jumps

30 second quick feet

Cycle Three (Repeat Twice):

  • 40 second crunches and reverse crunches

  • 40 second plank mountain climber

  • 40 second butterfly sit ups 

30 second leg jacks

WORKOUT #2

Type: Body Builder 

Exercises: 

  • 3-second negative push-ups (repeat x10)

  • Shoulder push-ups (repeat x10)

  • Alternating arm/leg lift plank (repeat x6 on each side)

  • Alternating lunge jumps (repeat x6 on each side)

  • Single leg glute bridges (repeat x6 on each side) 

  • Pendulum legs (repeat x10)

Repeat all exercises two or three times

Hold each move for 40 seconds, take a 20 second rest in between each move
