Many people may know about Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in October at Disney World where you can dress up and trick or treat within the Magic Kingdom, but some people may not be aware of the Christmas version of this.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a limited time and a limited ticket event that takes place November through December on select nights in the Magic Kingdom. Now, this may not sound worth the money on the surface because the parks are decorated for the holidays anyway, but there is no better deal than this for a Disney fan.

First of all, you’re able to see the park in its true Christmas-themed glory and beauty at night. There’s a glittering white Cinderella Castle and decorated trees down every street. You get to see all of this while enjoying free hot chocolate, cookies and other holiday treats that are handed out at special locations all night.

Second of all, the parades, shows and fireworks offered at the Christmas parties are only able to be seen at this time. There’s something so charming about all of them and something so special about being able to see them. You get to see all of your favorite characters — some who are barely in the parks in their holiday best on elaborate floats.

However, the greatest reason these limited-ticket party events are so incredibly worth every penny is because there are limited tickets, and therefore, there are no crowds. You can walk on to any ride in the Magic Kingdom and keep jumping in line throughout the night. You’re able to go on all of the classics and brand new rides without the pain of waiting in line for sometimes hours at a time. Some of them are even re-themed to fit the season such as, the classic Jungle Cruise, which is modified to the Jingle Cruise for the holidays. You can save all of your Fast Passes for different parks and wait until the Christmas Party to go on anything you’d like to at the Magic Kingdom.
