Reminiscing about a journey abroad

So, I’m not sure what to say, except, that’s all from me. I’m sitting here on my bed at the Pickwick Hall Hostel in London with about three days left in a country I have spent about three months in. I laughed, I cried, I joked, I wrote papers, and now, when I return to Rhode Island, I want to go to sleep.

My time in London has solidified 2018 as one of the best years in my life. It’s been a time where I (hopefully) have matured and learned a lot about myself and others, and have proven that there is more to the world than just a campus, a small state or even a country. There is a whole world out there waiting to be visited, explored and experienced.

Yeah, I sound like one of those basic people on Twitter that say they love travel, put an airplane emoji in their bio and have only been to Cancun twice with their parents. However, I couldn’t recommend going out and seeing the world we live in more! While I only saw one little corner in a place called London, soon I’ll be able to see more.

Just as I said in my first article abroad, “It is all about living through these experiences and finding the comedy in all of it.” Thank you for reading my articles and I’ll see you on campus to recite one of my many stories. As they say in England, cheers!
