Clubs and orgs give thanks and final goodbyes to their seniors

“Musician’s Guild would like to thank Tom Schmidt for being our club president and being so dedicated to the club for his entire four years here at Roger! Tom always comes to meetings with his keyboard and a smile on his face. Not only is he an extremely talented pianist, but we have no doubts he will be extremely successful beyond Roger Williams. He could get along with any person on the planet and he helps the club continue to be a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all of us every week! His attitude toward others and passion for music demonstrates exactly what Musician’s Guild is about.”

“We wish our seniors the best of luck in the future and we really are going to miss them so much. From rehearsing together for four hours a week to making it to the semi-finals in the ICCAs, we couldn’t have done it without them. All three of these seniors bring so much positivity and energy to rehearsals each week and it is going to suck without them. As an entire group, we love them so much and we can’t wait to see what they are going to accomplish.”

“To our Hawkette Seniors,

We love you and we will miss you dearly! Our time dancing with you has been some of the best time we have spent at college! Your smiles always brightened up the studios and your energy always radiated when you were dancing on stage. You have truly changed lives and will have a lasting impact on the dancers who look up to you. You are all wonderful role models and lasting rays of sunshine. We wish you the best of luck in your time after college. We will never forget your friendship and passion for dance that you have shared with us. The Hawkettes Dance Team was lucky to have you and the team will not be the same with you gone. We know that you will do absolutely amazing things — reach for the stars and know that you have a team that loves you and supports you.

Love,

The Hawkettes Dance Team”

“To our absolutely one of a kind seniors, thank you for being such an integral part of our WQRI family. Not only have you all been extraordinary DJs, but you have been outstanding and upstanding role models year after year. Without you all, our airwaves will be a lot less rockin’, our stages will be a lot less surprising and our meetings will… actually, we might finally get something accomplished without you there. All jokes aside, we know that we can expect amazing things from each and every one of you and we hope that the QRI spirit stays with you wherever you go. Always remember, as Albert Schweitzer said, ‘There are two means of refuge from the misery of life — music and cats.'”

“Seniors! You’ve helped set a path for us as a club and we couldn’t be anymore grateful! Rosie, Ryan, Sarah and Devon, you’ve all brought us wonderful memories and times that we will remember for the rest of our time at Roger Williams. We’ll miss the talks of “Chappie” and all the other movie references made throughout the year. We all wish you the best in life after you graduate and please stay in touch!”

“Dear Dance Club Seniors,

We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. For years, the members of dance club have watched you grow and looked up to you as role models, leaders, dancers and friends. You have paved the way for the future of dance club. You have led with talent, perseverance and most importantly your hearts. Dance club is a home for every dancer, and it will always open its arms to you. We support each one of you as you dance your way through life and all of its adventures. You have bright futures and will shine the same way you all lit up the stage. Always remember, if you get the chance to sit it out or dance, we hope you dance.

We love you all. Thank you for the incredible memories and all you have been a part of in Dance Club.”
